Notice in any example you care to mention, there is a common cause: religion. That was based off Aztec culture, which is really no more primitive than current cultures. There are no soup kitchens in Europe, Russia, Asia, Arab nations, if you drop out of school and/or don't work in those countries, there are no video games and free food at the expense of the country, especially no SSI...

I've lived all over the world. In every culture there is at least superstition, most have Christianity now and what comes with it..

Also these bombs were made out of pressure cookers and tertiary or lower explosives. Muslims are all educated people who can manufacture things like TNT and AP from distillation of store bought products, avoiding blacklists and undermining poorly designed US Gov. regulations. This looks like an American who hates it's government or an incompetent foreigner...

It's just a movie. Actors and special effects. All fake, not reality 500 years ago.

That movie was just an example. Tribes fought like that years ago, and still do.

You are right. We had something like this right here in germany, 70 or 80 years ago. When I was born we had a cold war.

So let's just hope we don't experience war again in our own lifes. I don't have it on my lifetime plan/schedule. Have other things to do...

Danilo, Fred, Machinecode, tj1010, Zebuddi123, Num3, Blueznl, Zach, Freak, me, ... all of us, and mostly of masses are the instument which allow, pay, and maintain the arm industries, militar bases, militar people, etc. which are prepared just to make pain and death to ourselves.
Just this is an obviousness which almost nobody see.

Being aware of it does not change any thing. And.. I think everybody who pays tax knows what it is used for.
Problem is, you can't just stop paying tax or say you want to pay 10% less, because you don't want to pay
for the military budget.

Contrary to you, I really see almost nobody knows that part of their taxes are for every kind of arms to kill people, and of course also to control, dominate, program lifes...

Too bad America doesn't spend on education what they do on defense contracts. or else the nation and it's military wouldn't be so weak... Not all enemies will have sticks and 30 year old assault and sniper rifles, fighting on foot with almost no cover...

"almost nobody knows" - there are almost 400 million people just in the US, a lot of those from countries with proper education, I think that statement is a bit too general...

Seriously, do you believe such generalizations? America outspends most if not all countries per pupil but that doesn't mean better students! Money = lethargy and complacence.

And what evidence is there of a weak military? As you say, my tax $$ go to the development of the world's most lethal weaponry mankind has ever known. America's enemies cannot win conventionally and now resort to terrorist activities that target women and children. If you study real hard, you will understand that America does not invade or conquer unprovoked. It only seeks continual markets for its economy to flourish. The policies to ensure continual markets are perceived as ugly intrusions by foreign devils. Hypocritically, these offended foreign entities NEVER reject our dollars for aid or oil or heroin or labor.

So I ask, what is your real problem with America?

No offense, but judging from your post you don't know much about world history or current realities... Also,,, most lethal weapons? Go inside DARPA or any other defense R&D lab and see how many Americans are there... America borrows, mostly from Russia and China... My country has 3 million people and mass poverty, but 8th year primary students from there will eat MIT and Harvard graduates and phds alive on any subject, in a matter of minutes...

B2, F22, Minuteman ICBM, Americas best, All by mostly Russian and German minds, all defeated by 20 YO defense tools being sold by Russia and China... America has no defense to hypersonic ICBM by the way, Russian allies have offense and defense to them...

You may want to at least read a history book though, post Automobile manufacturing boom, America is a borrowing country, as reflected by it's rapid growing massive dept, rapid loss of industry, poor education statistic when properly compared to other countries...

No offense taken. But I am saddened by your leaps of logic and endless generalizations. You asked about spending on education and answered. You asked if a citizen knew what his tax dollars paid for and answered. To avoid further generalizations, try instead using actual metrics. How about number of patents issued per country? How about new technology developments per country?
Quibbling with which student is better than another is pure hearsay. The proof is in the product a professional creates. Yes, one hopes students eventually become professionals.

It is no mystery Americans are motivated by profit. So, students follow this through by focusing on higher paying careers such as law and business and finance. If the pendulum swings the profit model toward engineering, the market will quickly follow.

Last time I checked, America is still a melting pot of diversity. I cannot determine employee citizenship by facial recognition

Most of Europe was a paradise before the Euro and after soviet annexes were lifted, basically without a union controlled by the wealthy like the US.. I know I was there. Switzerland is rich for the same reason Saudi Rabia is, just asset hiding instead of oil...

Also regarding your observation of Russia vs the USA, which one is your car stereo more likely to be stolen in or are you more likely to be shot in? Also take a Russian primary student and put them against the smartest person at MIT in any general subject and see who is smarter...

By the way, the 2 alleged Chechnyan bombers have been apprehended with 1 dead and the younger wounded. They appeared to be smart and appreciative of their opportunities here in America. I probably should not use them in your Russian student exercise? Ya Think!
