How ironic is this. My last post @infobyt3 i was going to jokingly say it was an EMP from North Korea  then i have just come across this from dec 2012 in the Washington Post.

North Korea EMP attack could destroy U.S. — now
Obama must take immediate action

WTF North Korea Have a Nuclear WarHead capable of delivering an EMP to Shut Down the USA

I posted saturday, but it was some time between 000 and 0200 monday 26.th morning local time here in Norway, the nearest solar incidence is this one:
Space Weather Message Code: ALTEF3
Serial Number: 1998
Issue Time: 2013 Mar 26 1219 UTC
CONTINUED ALERT: Electron 2MeV Integral Flux exceeded 1000pfu
Continuation of Serial Number: 1997
Begin Time: 2013 Mar 25 1215 UTC
Yesterday Maximum 2MeV Flux: 1612 pfu
Potential Impacts: Satellite systems may experience significant charging resulting in increased risk to satellite systems.
So this is probably not it.. :) Haven't heard anything from the 'fixing my laptop people', but I don't think they will be able to fix it, nor tell me what happened :(

They don't know what happened to it and can't repair it, the hd's and Os (win 8) ) is intact
and so is everything else they are able to check out within a reasonable cost. :(
Poltergeist phenomena :)

It's three years seven month's old, so I'm contacting the seller and ask them to fix it or
replace it.

Obvious electrical problem is obvious... Two laptops shut down at the same time, one doesn't even boot BIOS after. This means EMI or mains caused it. My guess is mains, caused by ~1/30 potential causes of spikes that can happen even on a well grounded system. My guess is from a component on the same socket, making surge protectors and ground useless...

A US media outlet sensationalizing war... It must be true

For some reason I don't think a small struggling nation with one of the most incompetent leaders and military in human history is going to 'take-over' one of the big three super powers that is in dept to most of the world, including said struggling nations only allies...

Someone let me know when Russia, China or a collection of countries say they are going to attack a nation like the US. Something tells me if they were to, you wouldn't see it in the news, and they'd know enough about strategy not to try to 'nuke' it, instead manipulate the targets economy.. like they are already doing by data-mining trade secrets and business projections to stage industry takeovers using hackers...

"Why would any smart leader use weapons to attack an enemy not smart enough to realize they are being attacked?"

EDIT: If you ignore all of that just look at the damage radius of any weapon including the latest Russian ICMBs. If you know science behind things you cant be influenced by propaganda from stupid people... America isn't a small island..

It's possible, even though it would be madness. Never under-estimate the ability of any Government to get things horribly wrong!

Edit: Maybe they have started in a small way, by zapping laptops.....

The most advanced ICBM warhead to date: 15 mile destructive radius, most of which can't kill an exposed toddler...

I truly believe it takes a 50k+ education to learn calculus and basic physics in America.. I'm glad I learned it at 11 in one of the worst schools in my country for free :)

I don't think this has anything to do with North Korea or Kim Very Ill. The zapping of the
laptops was a message from the other side.. :)

Saying spend more time together, instead of both of us sit here together, with the laptops
in focus, facebook etc.. :)
