...I think the point is that a lot of PB Users didn't see this change (auto casting) coming - perhaps if they did, they would have declined it. Reading Freak's comments, it would seem that he isn't so keen on it either.......

I have always used fill-in-the-blanks templates for this purpose because I like to sandwich the result between 'arrows': -->value<-- In this way, I can see there is nothing unexpected before or after the value, which might be just space chars but could be anything, including non-printable characters.
