Great to have Cocoa support now

Thanks Fred / Timo and the rest of the team; fantastic work.

I can report that on OSX Cocoa, the IDE runs a lot better on my Macbook Pro (13.3"). The Carbon IDE was terrible; no matter what I did I could not get certain characters to display correctly. No such apparent problems here.

Can I assume that you are using the full Cocoa version of Scintilla now rather than a hacked up version?

Change, please, used engine in WebGadget () on WebKit.

I'm setting up my new Mac so I just tried the IDE, looks brilliant, very native feel!

Could you add the Fullscreen button to the IDE? Wilbert made a nice library and I must say it is quite nice to be able to work in fullscreen!
Also the buttons do not have the "blue theme", not a big deal but it would look more native with that

Thanks again Fred and Freak you've done a fantastic work and I'm pretty sure once the few bugs, we'll have a great product to use on the Mac!

Well done for a first beta! I love to see when PB is supporting latest MacOS GUI platform...

I also noticed speed increase in my apps when compiled to Coco. Fantastic work PB Team.

Exactly, much better and easier for us indeed . BTW, OS X 10.5+ is requiered for this PB version (which shouldn't be a problem as OS X 10.4 is really out of date now).

Even 10.5 is out of date
I understand PB supports it since it is the last OS X version with PPC support and there still might be PB users whore are using PPC but to have access to the App Store, 10.6 is the minimum requirement.
So if as a PB user you want to distribute an application through the App Store you only have to worry about supporting 10.6 and above.

It would be great if there was a beta 1.1 that fixed the pb_any bug with images (on the Mac), that way a lot more can be tested.

It's planned, but releasing a PB version is very time consuming so we wait a bit in between to have more bugs to fix at once.
