until PB has a truly R.A.D Oriented IDE
Most professionals use the IDE of their choice, not the one that might or might not be delivered with the language. I think PB has a good IDE but I prefer to have one IDE for all the languages I have to use, which is mostly C, C++, PB and Lua. In terms of rapid development, I think PB is right up there. So too in functions and features. Write a gui based app in PB and then write the same one in C......

My point was focused on PB vs Visual Basic / .NET (or Microsofts GUI form designer in general) which I am willing to bet a LOT of businesses use, even if its just for prototyping.
What would be really awesome is if we had a RAD IDE for ProGUI, once it hits the point where the majority of PrincieD's custom gadgets are done, etc..
I have tried the various Designers available for PB and just find them somewhat lacking, I suppose.. Especially in the code integration department, having to save independent files and then import them back into your project is a pain if you change something halfway.
But I would agree I find it quite easy and, so far, manageable to create GUIs from scratch in the main PB IDE.
