Why should Microsoft always stay at the top, dominating the market with 95% marketshare?
...erm, I did not say that or even suggest it. I like using Windows. I'd like MS to survive, that's all.

The problem is that Metro isnt good, it realy isnt. You get a very slow workflow with it, even on mobile devices its outdated befor the release. Just look at current iOS and Android, Metro is no competition for them.
And on Dektops its totaly useless.
I think they wend in the wrong direction with Metro. They should have made a more desktop like GUI optimized for touch control. Thats what we need.
