Re: Grid control of choice?

Well said Vacuum. I have no problem with Brice; always got on well with him, but as sorry as I am for any confusion regarding the licensing etc. I do have to make it absolutely clear that I have never been out to fleece people of money in any way. Brice's original purchase of eGrid has always entitled him to the EsGRID control - which is the same control, but with far more features!
If anyone objects to having to pay extra to upgrade to ExGRID having originally purchased a lifetime license for EsGRID (or egrid) then, well, all I can do is repeat myself. ExGRID is not a replacement for EsGRID and EsGRID is still as valid and relevant as it ever was. However, ExGRID was far far too much work to simply give it away, even to existing EsGRID users. For 2 years the upgrade price for existing users was 7.5 Euros; which would barely buy me a cup of coffee round these parts!
I don't know how many people at this moment haven't upgraded, but I suspect that I can count them on one hand. Most took advantage on what I have to say was a generous update price. But then there is no need to upgrade; not if EsGRID is good enough, and for most apps it is certainly that.
Anyhow, I think it is all very straight forward now and yes I would like to get back to extending the grids further into Mac OSX territory. Whatever is the outcome here there will be no additional charges for existing users - no sir.
By the way; there is no Arctic Reports trial version - never has been. All there is, is a demo version of the Pyrex designer which is available through the Arctic Reports website.
Thanks again Vacuum.
