Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

It is free: http://www.phonegap.com/

Edit: But only free for one 'private' app? More than that, there is a monthly fee.............

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

Thanks Friend!

A personal reflection:
I'm programming from ZXSpectrun, NewBrain, Atari, CBM, etc. And do not understand why those who design computer languages, do not use the commands and existing forms. And they work to create complex languages that force you to learn. I humbly think, would be easier to include new commands as needed.
To schedule a site, even in html5, you need at least two languages, sometimes more. :x :?:
That is why I think, if you could take advantage of the source code on different compilers, would be great!
But .. PureBasic does this already with Win, Linux and Mac If Android would include practically perfect! :!:
Besides saving me spend my life learning languages that are becoming obsolete.

Sorry for my English is 8bit :D

This is all conjecture but doesn't PB Mobile for iOS and/or Windows seems more likely than for Android?
PB already supports OS X and Windows and both Apple and Microsoft are slowly merging their desktop and mobile platforms:

Hello USCode! Nice to hear from you. Yes, you're right.
Very nice link, thanks for the info friend.
Just use Apple virtual machine. Apple is expensive! They use Unix without its fundamental principles, free and open source distribution. Principles continue on Linux, fortunately for everyone.
Today Apple is an expensive PC with an operating system very close .. (Micro Intel, AMD or nVidia Graphic, etc..)

But the platform that triumphed. I do not say, what the numbers say. Android is included in almost all tablets and smartphones, it's free. While microsoft and apple, charge for their operating systems.

To my knowledge IOS is only used for Iphone, Ipad, etc.. Apple has a nasty habit of leaving unsupported legacy systems. Iphone, Iphone2, etc.. :? And also not exactly cheap.

Windows is used by Nokia in particular, although they have Symbiam.
Android is powerful and free. Used by Samsung, Sony, Huawei, Blackberry, etc.. It has thousands of applications, games and more.
No doubt, bet on Android. Anyway, history tells us that the best does not always win. Remember the Betamax and VHS.
This is my personal opinion based on my experiences computer. And user and customer experiences.
Surely my friend .. time will tell ..

Sorry, my English is 8bit

Windows Phone 8 sales are growing (especially because Nokia's Lumia Win8 Phones are so awesome) ...
...so Microsoft just bought Nokia phone business few days ago.

- Microsoft to acquire Nokia’s devices & services business, license Nokia’s patents and mapping services
- Microsoft buying Nokia's phone business in a $7.2 billion bid for its mobile future
- Microsoft swallows Nokia's phone business for $7.2 billion

Very interesting link, thanks. I had no idea.

You're right USCode.
You know the Indian proverb says:
When there are no trees.
When there are no fish.
When the water is contaminated.
People will know that money is not eaten.

Except for great apps like Dr. McCoy's tricorder (which will use a tachyon pulse relay matrix for scans and a CAT-37 cable for data transfers), or perhaps some children's games, the mobile device size makes little sense for full scale interactions with immersive software.

If it were not for the connectivity and convenience, few gamers would embrace the form factor of a mobile tablet or smartphone. Which is why most of the apps suck. Who really wants to play MADDEN NFL on a touch screen? However to each their own.

But what really bothers me that none of you mobile enthusiasts seem to care about the health effects of exposure to microwave radiation. By now you actually have to avoid the information.

I sincerely hope that PureBasic never implicitly endorses or attempts to capitalize on a sad situation by releasing tools to support the technology. This is my 2¢ to discourage anyone giving their energy to a sick situation.

PureBasic for Mobile, heck no.
Keep it BASIC.

Android and iOS destinations would be great. But they have left it a long time. To catch up with things like Gideros they would have to add in app purchases, etc... maybe they are too late?

Reality strikes and the market has spoken: http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/pers ... s/2365667/
As more folks move to mobile devices, developers will need to develop mobile apps to support them. To stay relevant, eventually Fred will have to support developers targeting the mobile app market ... like it or not that's where the business is going!
