Are you using the native SDKs?
I use
NS Basic/App Studio Because I can write programs in Basic..
It's based on the webkit browser/html5/css and javascript.
You can write your apps in NS Basic/App Studio and then submit it to PhoneGap Build, and they will compile it into native applications for iphone, ipad, android, palm, symbian, meego and bada for you and give you a download link to the finished applications, or you can use each platforms SDKs to do the same, or you can publish it to the web directly.
If people create a shortcut to it, it will be downloaded and installed much like an ordinary app, and run offline, but update automatically if the device is online. If you remove it from the web, it
is uninstalled as soon as the device finds out
You can embed javascript into the source code along with Basic as well, and also call functions in your program directly from html inside a webcontrol..
Check it out.
Oh, and I didn't mean to say that this place is dead, that was bad wording.

Its a bit quiet,
but it will probably pick up once 4.60 and its canvas gadget is out. PureBasic is still No1 of its kind.
