Yup, just like your wife was a virgin up until she wasn't, Duke was vaporware until it was released.

Sorry, my analogy about virgins was wrong. It sounded right, but I realise now it wasn't. It was late when I posted it, and I smugly thought it could be similar to vaporware. Reading it again now, after a hearty breakfast and a coffee, I can see I was wrong. "Vaporware" means software that is NEVER released, period. DNF is not vaporware. "Virgin" means untouched, but not forever. There IS a difference. Sorry for the confusion and the bad analogy.

Yeah, I don't think saying that you worked on the ill-fated 3D Realms version of Duke Nukem Forever would look too good on your resume. On the other hand if you leave it out, you leave a ten year hole in your work record that employers will find even more mysterious.
