Integrated COM support would be wonderful!

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

I'm have to try COMatePlus (I have not done it yet) maybe it is good enough, but whatever it does, it is not part of the official package and that will give trouble sooner or later, due to deprecated functionality or superseding. From what I have been reading on the forums the place is filled like a graveyard of old dead usermode libraries.
If I ever let COMatePLUS slip by the wayside then I'll give you your money back! Trond makes a good point about closed-libs though; I only ever release source-code libraries (there is one exception to this, but then the library in question comes in dll form, and these cannot readily be broken).

I use COMatePLUS too much for me to consider letting it go and so you're okay on that score. Too many people use it for one thing and I could do without too many angry mobs at my front door! One angry mob per week is enough!
C and C++ do OLE Automation in Visual Studio via MFT. Most of what makes Visual Studio worth it is the extra MS libs to make your life easier when developing C/C++. Same for Delphi or any other language out there including PB.
Not all users of c/c++ use VS! :)
I may look like a mule, but I'm not a complete ass.
