I suppose, you should not really leave bugs in the software, if you find any, should you. ;-)

Why not? You may pay bug-hunters to find and exterminate them... :P
I see a new industry emerging!

This is an image I made for my website:

Fred said it was okay to have an imagelink (my phrase) to the PB website - I don't know if this was what he had in mind?

This is good, but the yellow text isn't readable IMHO

Looks promising. But be better using black or white for the yellow text.

You say, if the yellow text is changed to black or white, we have a near-official logo for promoting PureBasic? If so: great :)

Yes, it's really for dark backgrounds.

Here's the PSD. Folk can change the yellow to whatever they want. :)

well its just my opinion, but I dislike the slogan "powered by". I would prefer "written with" or another less blown up expression. I mean it is a programming language and no rocket fuel ;)

Actually, all of the interactions is handled by the PureBasic framework, thus "powered by" is indeed apt. The alternative is to handle the api's directly, and I don't really want to get into reams of api calls when a simple OpenWindow() will do the job just as well :D

If I was using wxWidgets instead of direct API in C, it would be apt to display "powered by wxWidgets"

***edit : used the old name wxWindows by mistake

I agree "powered by" is a bit ridiculous, but that's why it makes me smile. The PSD is linked above; you could change the slogan to whatever you wanted. :)

So actually, it's a matter of taste, what you write above the "PureBasic".
I like the logo. Maybe we should consider a few possible slogans from which the Coder can choose.
If you don't like to put a logo of PureBasic in your application, you won't do it... :)

I'd vote for the above 2. The "Powered by" comes from the Realms of PriceWaterhouseCoopers  , I think.
