Okay, now that movie is ok, not entirely on the spot when it comes to autism, but still pretty damn close. And on top of that funny...

Okay, now that's one movie without my regular ingredients, and I still like it. I must be getting old...

That was a good 1 in its time but I think I prefer this remake of it.

Another good oldie remake that I like is the Smiths song "How soon is now"

What is a retro song?

Any OLD song
(in which case the likes of Mozart probably did a few good ones ;-) not really my era though

A new song written or played in an older style
I like Cherry Poppin Daddies 'Zoot Suit Riot' - http://mog.com/music/Cherry_Poppin%27_D ... _Suit_Riot
JellyRolls Headbone is good too - http://mog.com/music/Jellyroll/Hoo-Dee-A-Da/Headbone

Any 1980's song?
Ah the music of my youth - I'd rather leave it there though

Best retro song ever: Josephine Baker : Mon coeur est un oiseau des îles .
It just doesn't get any better than this.

Here's some more about Josephine Baker, and then here again, singing "La Petite Tonkinoise". It gives you an idea. And retro it is !

i hasten to add that i also like most of what has been mentioned here.
