He probably wants to offer you breast/penis enlargement, or, perhaps offer you a "too good to be true" deal to make money from something you write for him while *he* runs off with it and makes money...

Not a problem with me, as long as I get something out that works as I'm using PureBasic for educational purposes only. Plus, if one is after a final product, no one needs to know anything about the actual code

Naah... mazgic Square took so little time because it was a simple puzzle game... PLUS I already had the engine worked out. Windows API!

Now when I translated my B3D game WaHoo! into PB it took a mite longer... About 3 days...

But again I had already written the core program and just had to re-envision it in PB.

There are games that only take 1 day and some that will never be finished... MY POINT IS: write some code and if you cannot figure out what to do or get stuck then ASK!

But don't expect anything handed to you... THAT gets on my nerves and I am unanimous in that!!!
Binarily speaking... it takes 10 to Tango!!!

Rook, check your Facebook by the way ;)

Whether one day or one year I completely agree with you. It is debatable however whether it is wise to pull a (sorry for the rough word) complete n00b into a programming language in order to accomplish something as complex as a game (or office time killer, either way I believe you know how complex your Magic Square is) or just guide this someone to a more n00b-friendly environment (such as Game Maker in this story).

I need to get some coffee, why I am constantly "advertising" Game Maker is beyond me and sorry if advertising of other programs is prohibited in this forum, maybe the whole story just got on my nerves :|
