Why show something so fast? Embarrassing admission: I was dumb, didn't think. Too much of the "DOH!" factor in me at the moment.

No worries! Just make sure you put the CPU cycles saved where it counts, under the hood of the program where the real work takes place, and make a tight fast efficient program.
