I see from this other topic that we must credit the author if we use this code. Not good. Please don't rip code from other sites and post them here, and then spring on us the license details later. It's not good. You were asked about licensing issues before and said the code's author was unknown; in that case you shouldn't have posted the code. It's immoral and unethical.

You all have to do is write a line for him, is it so big deal? He does not want anything else. There is NO license! You DO NOT have to contact with him. If it is so big deal for you, just DO NOT use it. You are not forced to use it, ARE YOU? The code for pdf version 1.2 is mine, but for 1.3 is not. I only said that the code will be extended by me.

Hang on, who exactly wrote the Purebasic code to create pdf files?
If doctorized has written the code based on some existing VB code, and providing the author has given his permission, then I see nothing wrong. Doctorized will have saved some people a lot of work as it will be a damn site easier for PB users to use PB code than the original VB code.
If this is not your Purebasic code doctorized, then, well, yes, perhaps a link to the authors site would have been more appropriate.

As I said, I wrote the code in PureBasic. I also sent a copy of the code to the VB author to post it to his web site. This was not necessary, but I thought that he would like to post it among the other versions of his code (Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic .Net, Visual Basic 2005, ASP, PowerBASIC).

Then I see no problem with what you have done, it will save some people a lot of work.
Thanks.
