I still haven't download it - 3MB would take a while here, I'll do this next week :?

Maybe the wave file could be converted into another format (compressed, lower sample rate, mono or just mp3) to save some space also?

Thanks for all the kind words, it's appreciated. I never really planned to do much with this, I only shared it as an afterthought but the suggestions sound very good and I'll implement all of them.

On the glass, I did the two crystals for this clock as "one-offs" but I'm in the process of developing a Glass library with all elements configurable, i.e. glass color, opacity, drop and inner shadow size, color and opacity, highlight color, direction, size and opacity. Once it's finished it will be able to create glass (just rectangular to start with) quickly and easily. The code I have now is dreadful (I'm a shocking coder when I'm in a hurry  ) and it contains rather involved custom procedures for alpha drawing, which will be rendered obsolete by the imminent PureBasic v4.40. So when I get to the point where the library code is in a shareable state, my procedures will have been replaced by native PureBasic code. In any event, all the code for the coming lib will be shared. I don't do compiled libs any more for these boards.

That will be great. :D

Please be advised, link in the first post for this thread is now a .zip containing full source code, all images and sounds. Those who would prefer a different ring or would like to add a snooze button or other feature can now do it yourself as I don't have the time. I hope you enjoy playing with this one as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thanks again Fred for the kickass product that is PureBasic!

Note: All graphics were drawn by me with Photoshop and sounds were obtained from free sound sites. You have full permission to use/modify all.

The link in the first post is fixed now so you can get the clock if you want to but unfortunately I've lost the code and images. Just the clock exe is in the zip.
