yes, better now.

regarding the colors...
try #FF9933 for the orange back, it will already help a lot.
a green of #33FF33 is more descent yet strong enough,
and #FFFF99 is the nicer yellow for the infobox...

... and perhaps it's nicer the other way round:
try the dim yellow for the main area and the infobox in white...

btw, I did not check the pictures...
putting them on facebook isn't productive, better put them on own webspace.
oh... and have a nice day.

@Kaeru,

Thanks - yes - those colour suggestions are good - I'll have to stick with the stronger orange until I edit my image to it blends with the lighter shade.

- I kind of agree with the facebook photos, but it is convenient - many if not most of our group use facebook and post photos there for our events.
Its easy for me to link to them.
Casual visitors without FB IDs wont be able to view the full albums, but will get the idea from the thumbnails. Our regulars (mostly) already have FB IDs - so yes it is a problem, but I think a small one (in this case) and the convenience and access to other peoples albums outweighs the disadvantages...

PS

I've been using Google Analytics to measure who visits and where the come from. It really is a fantastic tool.

I was surprised at the Browser info:
226 visits from IE users - of which 59% use IE7, 36% use IE6, 4% use IE8
142 FF users - of which 48% FF3.0.5, 44% FF3.0.6, 2% FF3.0.1
20 Chrome users
16 Safari
11 Mozilla
