You can make cross-platform programs with PB, and it's quite simple if you stay away from special graphic effects or libraries.
However, keep in mind that, regardless of Linux hype, this O.S. still holds less than a puny 1% share of the market, while MacOs nowadays stays at about 10% of the total. The remaining 89% are Windows O.S. (in several flavours).
