As a possible future customer I am very interested as to the new features that are in these beta versions.
I know that you cannot allow unregistered users to download these betas but are the new documents available anywhere?
Thanks for any help.
Jason.

I'd buy now if I were you, just in case the price goes up!
There are lots of new features, but the biggest improvements are with the Ogre 3D stuff.

Are any new 2D commands added in version 4.30? In particular 2D in 3D.
I`m so very close to buying this but I would really like to see some of the new features in action. Can anyone please provide a few of the new examples as precompiled .exes?
Jason.

QuickSilva,
When it comes to PureBasic, don't think, just buy... I've tried VB, DarkBasic and a few more other basics but PB tops 'em all. If you want 2D games, you can get some great example codes on the forums.

Yeah, what he said. PowerBasic has horribly confusing syntax and was inconveniently difficult to try and learn even the simplest of things, DarkBasic has always been buggy and unstable from what I've heard, and all the BlitzBasic languages seem to be stuck in the past and not going anywhere now, which is why I switched from the latter to PureBasic. Just buy it, you won't regret it

I think I will just go ahead and buy it. You guys seem to have plenty of good things to say about it which is a good sign.
The only real thing that was putting me off was that lots of people on other forums say that PB is a great language but it is more focused on apps than games creation.
Although this wasn`t meant as an insult it is games that I want to make so I want to make sure that I`m buying\learning the right language.
I also want to make sure that I buy into a product which is continually developed and one where the creators keep you updated as to it`s progress. Pure Basic seems to be extremely good in this area.

If you want to take advantage of the DarkBasic Professional engine in PureBasic have a look at PureGDK:
http://puregdk.com
You get access to all of the engine functions and internals without the DBP language front-end.

Probably if it is games you are looking at then you could purchase third party game engines. You are right in saying that it is more focus on apps because PureBasic addresses a wider range of development. This is good because you can then focus and design more details if you are skilled...

There is a GDI+ example but it has been removed.

What version of PB was it in, and what was it like?

If you want to take advantage of the Blitz3D engine in PureBasic have a look at Blitz3DSDK:

Hey, we already have OGRE in PB, and it's cross-platform
