how do you update RGBA textures realtime in the 3DEngine?
i'm afraid to make this technique very public. it's not really used yet as far as i have been able to see, and i've searched extensively for examples of this technique. incidentally i found a few non-digital (classical medium) examples of this form of 3D art.
i am eager to see the first application of this technique be for krsna. that's why i am reluctant to post screenshots very publicly.
has anyone figured out yet how to update a 32-bit (meaning RGBA) texture by sending instructions to a shader program loaded in the GPU?
like, if you wanted to add a single pixel @(x,y) to an existing texture, or make a single pixel @(x,y) transparent, or 50% transparent or whatever.
is there a way to do that with shaders on the GPU?

Repeat this sequence out loud:
*say hare krishna twice
*then say krishna twice
*then say hare twice
*then do the whole thing with rama instead of krishna
if you do this correctly, a representative will appear with further instructions
