Same problem on Debian 4.0. I can make the directory and file in the /tmp directory with no errors

Test --> touch /tmp/test and the rm /tmp/test
Test --> mkdir /tmp/dirtest and rmdir /tmp/dirtest

So why is thier gcc link error with purebase?
