No minor versions anymore?

The version number is not really important.
This is correct, but I'm afraid you are missing the point here.

By releasing minor versions that fix known bugs (without introducing new features), probably each minor version will be more bug-free than the previous one, and so stability will continuously increase. Major versions normally are introducing new features. Of course they will fix known bugs, too. But there is a good chance that they will introduce new bugs along with the new features. So not releasing minor bug-fix versions is somewhat unusual IMHO, and not a good idea from the point of view of the PureBasic user.
