It had a hiccup installing the Preferences file in the PureLibraries. It is probably MY fault as I had a duplicate file called ~Preferences there... however the ~ should have changed the name. I deleted it and no probs!!! Thanks for the birthday present on YOUR birthday!!!

Compiler would not start until I deleted that ~Prefernces file

Many thanks to PB Team.
My weighty project, whitch can't compile with PB4.20 b2, on b3 is compilable again.

Also a happy birthday to fred (but only if the next release will be available before his next birthday )

I have the new beta now on my USB stick and it works fine (on some PCs but not at the high school - will check that, maybe missing admin rights?)

Thanks to the PB Team for the new beta.

I have now read the FTP Commands from Helpfile an I missing a command
like FTPBreakProgress(#Ftp) to stop an up/download. Exists another way
to do this, or its planned to add this for the next release ?

Ok, gotta ask as always ..

http://www.purebasic.com/beta/

Are these files in the new beta release. Or did this one:

RegularExpression 23-Mar-2008 12:07 68k

Come out after the latest beta release?

Just look at the file date. Its older than the release.

True, but will that always indicate that the version inside the beta release
will always be the newest one? :)

Why would Fred knowingly put an older version in the package ?
