Answer is easy, and i explained this before.
I started Visual Designer with Fred when i was an employee at a computer company, i had hours of free time and could code every day.
Was somewhere around December 2002.
Now, i have 3 kids and my own computer company with 7 employees.....

I was just confused about the good quality of the beta compared to the current bundled version.

PureFORM here.
I too have a license for PureVision, but I found it too fiddly to work with.
PureFORM is lightweight, easy to use, and easy to setup. And it's almost as easy to work with as Visual Studio.

PureFORM rocks!
I am also a registered user of PureVision but i prefer the Gnozal's PureFORM, because it is fast, lightweight, customizable etc.

Shareware? I would call it commercial, at least I have paid $27.95 for it. It's very good though...

In the early times all used the word "shareware" to clarify that its a time-limited version and you have to buy it to get all features.

I have dev. since about 2000 to 2008 with VB 5 and later V 6.

I like the visual develope way, with adding code for the nessessary thinks like "Buttons, Menüs, an so on".
I think, this way is very effektiv. But i dont like MS, and i was looking for an way, to use my code on other systems, like linux, MacOS, .... not only on MS Windows....

...so i have look for other systems, and find in about Jan. 2010 the PB concept, and i find it generelly very fine.

I understand the PB Concept well, but i think, it is very necessary, to give the programmer the oppotunity, to develope in visual style way - but this is in this time not inside in PB, because the included designer does not work well. I can not edit the code in the above Code-area, and in the left code-area, there will appear no code - it is empty. And there are an few other mistakes.

And i can not switch back and forward between code and form area (and chance any...)

I have testet the pureVision, and i have an license for that (and i have an licence for the PB IDE, too), but this is not, that i want. The PB Editor is o.k. but not the visual Part of it.

Further, and actualy, i use the Gnozals PureFORM. This is - in this time - the most like way to develope, that i want!

PureFORM is great, i think.

Did you already try, to ask Gnozal in the related Thread about this features?

As far as I know Gnozal, he is always very helpful and open for good and new features.

Hi John(ny),
PureFORM was not designed to be a RAD like VB.
I simply wanted to create an alternative designer more suited to my needs.
The 'Code Infusion' feature was added later, after some user requests. It's more a workaround, and I never use it myself (I never liked the VB coding style).

Yes, the PB idea is an other one. And the idea is good, is ok.

But i have allways the dream, to program visual-like. I want very well chance between code-window and Form-window. And when i chance the code, or the form, the other one should chance himself.

Is this not possible with any PB Tool / Designer?

Perheps the included designer will go this way in future?

I think, PB will become very much additional costomers (licences) when it will be optional possible to programm the aktuell PB way, AND the modern Design-way with switching between code and form.

I think, it is absolute necessary (for the PB Team) to develope this Option, and the designer should not be an separate App., but it should be an window inside the PB IDE.

With config-options, every programmer can then make his own IDE.

I used Purebasic 3.9x (almost five years ago !)
