I still have a working VST2.4 plugin made in PureBasic (with UI but no dsp, just a MidiPlugin)
The code is quite old, and it needs still a lot of work...
(no preset handling, no Set/GetParameter, no code cleanup, no optimizations.....)

Anyway, if you want to make VSTI's, the hardest part is DSP!!!

Did you think about SynthEdit / SynthMaker or even the JUCE framework?
Have you downloaded the VST2.4 SDK from Steinberg?

Be also aware that the VST market is already quite overcrowded (to put it eufemistic...)

Anyway, good luck!
Go to www.supersynths.com

Those are my synths. One is a licensed Wusik synth, but the others are all Synthedit. I also own Synthmaker
and about every other way to make a plugin without actually coding it. Now, I want to code my own. I'm tired
of using non-programming dev environments.

I'll download the SDK today and see if I can make heads or tails of it.

Eriansa, if you lost interest would you mind sharing the work that you did?
I'm sure this would help him out A LOT if he had actual PB source code to look over.
