Time for family? Tell that to my mother! She was the one to suggest we do what we like on xmas eve ^_^
This is the price (freedom?) you have to pay if your family is atheist I guess ^O^

agreed the melody is a bit so so, and it shouldnt run that high in the ending.
just testing of a few producing ideas
But i didn't even mean to make that track hehe

do you like my new style or should i go back to the old. I will try moving towards anthem trance for this xmas
Just one smiley, that's a new personal record.

Edit: I can't count! Neither smileys nor topic replies, I thought it was the last one! Time to go to bed.

Yeah maybe its time to go to bed :P

Oh the price yeah. having to spend a whole day in good company drinking redwine and cooking, doing a few things and then to cash in a bunch of presents

12 people here.

ffs! i need more caffeine ....
Oh yeah i know that one. Due to small children in the house i don't sit up late these days because i KNOW that even though my room is far away from them, they still manage to get up here and will for sure wake me up. I do have a feeling that my parents encourages them to do so, though, but at least i can rest assure they're also suffering :P

The timing was perfect... my daughter brought in the new, sound activated, dancing snowman - right as I am listening to DJ Irene.

Cool tune Irene! I listen to that stuff all the time while I code.

I couldn't help it, but I have a too nice heart so I am willing to share this with you guys. I'm releasing my very own custom drumkit which I use for trance and dance tracks nowadays. The README in the ZIP archive covers most of the questions you might want to ask... Have fun! ^_^

Ah thats a bit better
Nice clap.

I'd still put some more high freq's to the bassdrum to make it more evident in the mix, but that again depends on the music you are doing. If its club-trance you want the "shhboom".

that said, you don't have to remove the reverbed ones from your package, as they would probably be good for beginners who don't reverb them themself :)

I like the hihats alot btw.

The demo sounds like its chinese inspired.. I like chinese hehe.
Are you firing of the snare AND the clap at the same time at each second bassdrum hit? No? Try it ;)

I'm not fearing anything T_T
About the "shhboom" I'll see what I can do. The kick drum is now set with highest priority so I will see what the equalizer says... I might as well release Rex2 loops for our Cubase friends ^_^
About the reverbed samples, well I will release them once more separately from the original Intensiva samples. I will probably make a quick SoundFont as well with sample MIDI files for the starters in the audio scene ^_^

Come on thefool you didn't say anything negative about the demo track itself. I know you can criticize even Tiësto if you really wanted ^o^

Who say i can't use Rex2 loops :P

Though i enjoy working with samples alone, its always a good idea to seek inspiration.

i'm getting a korg padkontrol in week1 btw :d

Sure i can criticize everything, and thats about the best way you can get better. Constructive criticism! The bastards at the fitness are closed so i'm exersicing using my own weights at the moment(with all the extra food you eat in xmas times, its a good idea heh), but i'll see what i can do later. Also got a little xmas dinner in a city nearby, but i am driving so i can review it sober when i get back

Just take your time dear. If you would be so kind I would like you to criticize the Intensiva demo track ^-^

@BriceManuel: Thank you! (but the next time please don't call me "lil", I'm 18 already and don't want my popularity sink by someone who thinks I'm younger. Nothing against you Brice, but you know ^_^)
