I think it means your first impresson(first glance).

I saw clockwise at the first glance, then when I getting tired or look around, I feel the direct changes by chance.

50/50 in here... I wonder how they did that animation without going nuts...

I can't seem to make it change while viewing it, but when I look away and look back it will sometimes change direction. It was counter-clockwise on first viewing, though. In every brain hemisphere test I've done (and I've done a few) I come out pretty squarely in the middle, which probably explains my left-handedness at writing and right-handedness at pretty much everything else.

Initially clockwise, but within a second i can say "go the other way" - or at least think that - and it spins anticlockwise. Same goes to get her going clockwise again :)

Funny how the web site says "most of us would see the dancer turning
anti-clockwise" yet the poll here shows the total opposite, with most of
us seeing her turning clockwise. Maybe it's a typo on that site.

The website likely assumes most people would see it counter-clockwise because people are statistically more left-brained.

She defaults to left turns for me but I am able to make her turn right with a little concentration. 8)

My wife was insisting that the image was changing directions on it's own. Funny thing is, when I see left, my wife sees right and when I see right my wife sees left. A match made in heaven I tell ya!!!

Nice one Thalius :)

Interesting this topic just popped up as I was learning about it in my psychology class.
When given a "test" in the class to figure out which side of the brain was dominate and which handed (left handed or right handed) I am, I got the following results:
I use both sides of the brain equally and I am ambidextrous

Most likely it was a solid object and then just converted to a flat black.

I think I first saw her turning anticlockwise, then after reading the text clockwise; then I started to wonder... I can get her to turn both ways, but if I switch a tab in my browser and then back again she continue to turn the way she did when I last saw her. Changing the way she turns is hard btw.

So I think you should have an option in your poll called "neutral-brainer" or something :P

Edit:
I see that it kinda jumps over some frames somewhere in the animation and this is were your brain get to use its fantasy.
I like logic, hence I dislike humans but love computers.
