Maybe you can show the result of the conversion of an image in ascii in your first post.
That permits to show the aim of this piece of software !

With 1.7, I'm getting bad text output: it's missing all the ampersand characters. Other than that, nice work!

Ok, if it is a bug, this will be fixed in the next version.
