Thank you a lot beach - it works now 8)

A little question, i can guess that the 'pbwebstore' is your php program (?)

If so, can you can add a 'Last DL Date' in the file explorer  :?:
No programming language is perfect. There is not even a single best language.
There are only languages well suited or perhaps poorly suited for particular purposes. Herbert Mayer

Sometimes ISP DNS servers are glitchy, so I now also use www.OpenDNS.com (it's great) - no problems viewing any sites since using it.

If you think a site may be down, its a good idea to check with http://www.iwebtool.com/server_status first before going to the hosting provider.

Yes, PureStorage is my app (started out as 'pbwebstor'). The last DL time stamp is a good idea, I'll add this when the dust settles.

There are still substantial config errors on the server. The host provider gave our server a new IP but failed to address all the configs that still have the old IP address. Thank god for Perl's -p -i -e feature.

Cool, I'll definitely take a look. This was not a DNS issue though - the host provider was purchased by another company and they decided to 'truck' the servers to another state where their base of operations are.
