I was saying that this COM stuff are related to ts-soft's PB library and that is not the scenario of the winapi examples.

It came across as if you were suggesting that the only reason a COM forum is required is because of one thread only; rather than a whole bunch of reasons; interfaces, ActviceX, OLE,... etc.

Now this is getting OverL(E)y COMplicated! We are all COMpetent programmers in this.COMmunity, all able to INTERFACE on many levels.

So, from one Iunknown whose Active->eXcesses often get him into hot water to one with a COMpletely New(outlook), let us agree to halt these proceedings for the COMmon good before things go too far.

In fact things have DEFINEtly gone too far so time to CoUninitialize( ) and scarper before freak calls our release methods and returns us to the heap from which we came!

(srod sits back and watches the last of his hard earnt respect disappear into the sunset... )
