It certainly doesn't work here with the original installers from the Rar's files9 server.I tried to reinstall it and install both 3.61 and 3.62 and none work with that key. Is there another installation that works? Can you post the link for the installer you downloaded please?

Just completely uninstalled 3.61 and reinstalled and no longer working.

Have eventually got 3.51 and installed it and ran the key routine and it did not come up eith the 'registered box' like before but it is working so I guess I'm going to stick with 3.51.

I have no idea what was happening with 3.61 unless it was hacked or whatever when I downloaded it a while ago. :?

@JCV, thanks, I thought first of all that it was the newer version, didn't even consider themes, am using Jr 1.01.

There are a lot of good themes on the site, real quality. I wish I could draw like that.

what's the benefit of registering WinRAR? I have used the "trial" version for long and even after the trial period you can use it, and there's only one nag screen.. not that hard to click on "Close" every time I open WinRAR.

I like the winrar tool, but then, all these kind of tools look the same.
I can easily sum up some of the lesser features of winrar.

But then, i almost never use the features bothering me + i got this free license now.
