I live along the golf course and overlook the ocean on Vancouver Island.
The house is at the centre of the screen. I can't seem to find a way to put a marker on it.

interesting:
I have the same gap in the placement, here.
when you zoom back that the display is changes from AirPhoto to Satellite,
you can see the town and also the big Lake jumping aside a bit...
