I get 15 paid vacation days per year plus 8 paid national holidays.
I've had this job for about 2 years.
Beginning on my 3rd year I'll get 20 paid vacation days per year and I think beginning with my 5th year I'll get 25 paid vacation days per year.

just to throw my cap into the ring, I get 20 days paid annual leave, all national public holidays off AND an additional 13 weeks per year (I work 3 weeks on, 1 week off shift work).
and no physical labour to speak of
so.... jealous?
oh and I've been working here for a little less than 2 years

I get 20 days a year off + all national holidays plus an extra 5 days after 10 years and another 5 days after 15 years.
I work in a warehouse, order picking, where you do your allocated work and then you can go, at the moment I'm doing about 3 hours a night and being paid for 8, not bad.
In the summer when it gets busy I will do about 6 hours a night, 5 nights a week so I do between 15 and 30 hours a week. Hard life!!

I'm with you drac.
I've been with my current employer for ~15 years. It's a small company where I am the one and only employee. Here's what I get....
6 paid National Holidays
zero(0)...zilch...zip...nada...not even 1 single solitary paid personal/vacation day.
(Just to be fair, my boss does pay me more than she pays herself.)
The reason(s) I stay at my current job is the pay is decent, I make my own hours, and at my age (52) it's next to impossible to find a new job that will pay me what I am worth.
