Aye, I had quite a time getting CGI to work with IIS 7. Got it in the end though. I would say, my first time installing and onfiguring IIS 7 for CGI, took about 3 hours in all. I then switched to Apache and the same task took about 10 minutes. PHP was added in about another 10 minutes and all this from a complete arse-head when it comes to things like servers! 
Why the hell IIS 7 is so damn awkward is beyond me?
