Sometimes even two times a day.

But autoupdate is launched only once per week

Not here. It's annoying how often it popups and wants to connect...

				Depends how you set it

And you can always do it manually

Wrong: AntiVir tries to update every time I connect to the internet, which is
very annoying at times (sometimes I connect 5 times a day, and AntiVir tries
to update 5 times as a result). So I have set it to manual mode instead.

As for AntiVir not warning you about PureBasic: if it was up to date, then you
obviously tested it after they fixed it, because my screenshots prove that it
was warning about PureBasic for a while.

But if you are permanently connected to the internet it checks once per week

Well, you can open the settings and change that you know.
Mine now checks every 24 hours.

AV are just virus that takes your PC and tries that no other virus get in there... BTW AV are very bad to detect, i never trust them, its just an illusion to feel protected (like condoms, very uncomfortable and, if you have bad luck, the protection could be just an illusion he he).

lol, ricardo, you lead a very high-risk (electronic and organic) lifestyle!
Sure, there may be the odd bit of bad luck for one or two people but what about all the times it (they) save someone some grief?
I wonder what you would find if you downloaded some free AVs and ran a check?

Dunno that you can DL the other (free or otherwise) though.

 Yeah, right. My antivirus software has stopped my system getting infected
MANY times, both from viruses in web pages and apps I've downloaded. But if
you think those infections are just figments of my imagination, then so be it.

				Firewall + AV w/ Anti-Spyware = Good Defence.

You should have then if your pc is connected in the internet/network.

In fact i have a low lisk policy. I don't download unknown things and... about the other part... i preffer don't disclose my life style but are low risk too
