GeoTrail wrote:Doesn't matter. Activation is different on Vista then on XP. You don't have to install the Windows Genuine app, it is already inside Vista, so MS can change the procedure on their side as often as they want, rendering the cracks useless. That's the idea anyways.
In a week its removed :)

I think each new MS-program seems to be faster in the first moment, but just wait until you've entered all the data and installed all the programs you had on your old system...

To see the difference, just work a while with the new system and then go back (step-by-step) to windows XP, 2000, 95, 3.1, 2.01, and so on -- would be interesting at which point you will say, wow, THATS fast...

Last time I said Wow that's fast was when I tried Windows 98 SE for fun. Wow that's fast, can't remember seeing the Blue Screen Of Death coming that fast hehehehe

Everything runs SOOOO much faster and smoother then any of the RC version that I've tried.

I was a Microsoft sales partner for a long time and got many things free from the various conferences I went to. But XP I had to get from a volume license machine that was decomissioned (and they were going to throw the licenses away with the machine).

Managed to get Vista rc1 and 2 as part of the CPP program and am loving it. No more contacts left in the business and can't afford a full copy so am dreading when the rc2 stops working as I rather like some of the things it can do for me. Nice and fast here too.
