Yeah - the Danish tax *sucks*...

but the income is 30% - 50% higher in Denmark and the Swedish krona (SEK) is lower than the Danish krona (DKK).

An example;

A guy / gal earns 30000 SEK (about €3000) / month in Sweden. If he / she begin to work in Denmark (the same job) but lives in Sweden, he / she will get (very rough figures, but you get the idea).

In Sweden
------------

+ 30000 SEK salary
- 10500 SEK tax
= 19500 SEK

In Denmark
--------------

+ 42000 DKK salary
- 18900 DKK tax
= 23100 DKK
= 1.25 x 23100 DKK = 28875 SEK

Yes - you can have a Swedish car and you don't have to pay the Danish 180% car tax if you live in Sweden...

Yes - the VAT is 25%, 12% or 6% depending if the VAT is for food, a service and so.

Hmmm... I'll maybe talk with my Tax Office...

Well the VAT here is 25% on EVERYTHING. Food, service, books, anything.
Its much cheaper to buy books from amazon.co.uk then amazon.com, because i dont have to pay the 25% VAT :/

Of course i also like waiting for the packet. Like a little child? Whooo when is my books ariving! its so damn exiting. And damn its annoying if you miss the package!

The VAT is 25% here too, 12 % on food.
I pay 36% income tax.
But if I order anything from another country that costs more then 200 NOK, or about $30, I have to pay tax for it, 25% plus a fee to the Customs Office. My girlfriend bought a porcelain horse for here nephew awhile back, it cost 210 NOK and after all the fees it ended up at around 600 NOK.
