PureBASIC Direction?

As a newcomer to PB, I would like to say that the only reason I bought PB was because it contains many tools that allow me to do different things, not just games.

Again, as many people have, you have missed the point entirely. What steve and I are saying is that the game making aspects of PB should be polished up and given a bit of love because PB already out does the competition in the business app making department. I'm not saying that i (or anybody else) want to see PB turned into a pure game making language, i'm just saying that it is probably time to give some parts of the language an overhaul to make it more well rounded to handle ANY task, including games. To be honest, not targeting game makers is a mistake as there is massive amount of revenue to be made.
