About physics 101, it is the power/weight ratio that counts, not the weight of the vehicles alone.
I think the Porche has an 558 hp engine, and the electric car is 236 hp, and if you scaled the elctric
car up to mach, it would probably come close to 1000 hp and still beat them on the strip.
