I think we will have a rapid change in the operating System market in the next few Years, Macs are becoming cheaper and faster (The new Mac Pro is already cheaper than a Dell Workstation with the exact same Hardware), Linux is becoming more mature that means it's becoming usable with the mouse only and the toolkits are changing in that way that it doesn't matter what Desktop you are using, thats simply a fact. So I think it's important for all of us to start informing ourselves about all the Platforms so we can do Cross Platform applications that's the way tto go and unfotunately it's also the way PB is going.

PS:
I personally own 1 Windows XP Box, 1 Ubuntu Laptop, and an Intel iMac. I have to say that I find all of them pritty usable though it doesn't make as much fun on windows as it does on the other two. I also administer a Linux Server together with some friends using ssh only, I must say it's damn fast after you get a little bit used to it, I doubt I would be faster with a gui especially since the commandline enables us to let 2 or more people work on the server at the same time, in this way it took us only 10 minutes to setup a fully working server from the Ground up including Webserver, MySQL, IRC Server, Bouncer. Only setting up Mailservers seems to be apritty hard task since these programs are really old (sendmail has a codebase reaching back to 1983 and sometimes complains about a User not being a typewriter).
