Well, obviously not as "attaching" data like that is ahack in itself.
We're just lucky that the OS (Windows at least) do not load that attached data into memory.

The "proper" way would be a proper data "section" I do believe these or a variant of them can be held on disk only (and not loaded at program start).
Sorry I can't help ya more than that, maybe some of the other gurus here know what I mean or got links to more info.

[my header there exactly fill something there point to my files]
