+1 PB 4.0 beats 3.94 by far, it's like comparing windows 95 with XP

@Fred:

i agree that v4 has some nice new features and at all so its better than v3.9x - but as you can read on some pb related forums, some guys will still work with 3.9x instead v4, due fact of some problems and bugs (esp. compiler related bugs).

you can thrust me, when saying, i heared people saying the actual v4 final is something more like "v4 final beta". personally i think v4 could become a very good image, if there would be a bugfixed update now and not to wait until a first linux version. i think i am not the only one here thinking this.

bugs in libs are not so bad as bugs in the compiler itself - because its hard or better nearly impossible to solve bugs by the compiler. i will listen some sad points of v4 final:

- PB4 : REASM POLINK Error
- PB4 : Floating point recursion
- PB4 : Bug with Quads
- PB4 : Bugs with pointer to string
- PB4 : Pointers and arrays
- PB4 : bug in inline asm
- PB4 : "a.b[0]" has a size of 1
- PB4 : Invalid memory access using string fix
- and so on... :)

so a fixed update would be really great ^^
