I think we should remove the post counter. Afterall; I like to post a lot but some always thinks its because i want to have a high postcount. I don't really care. Even though its not there im pretty sure anyone would notice me :P

Well, if high postcounts are a problem then the I guess the gregarious, the super-helpful and the creator of PureBasic are baddies along with the flooders and spammers. :P

<--- Anyhow, to reduce indigestion I've reduced mine.

:)

Now the post numbers on the left won't be a cause for concern for a few more years.

I totally agree on this. The reason why I am not that active in the german
forum anymore is that there are far too many fun and nonsense threads
going on. Don't get me wrong - I really like to chat about other things than
coding, too. But it is sometimes really a shame to see if some really good
posts doesnt get enough attention because there are too many offtopic talking
going on.

In other forums I have seen the so called Karma system, which
let users smite or applaud other's users post. So, you get positive or
negative ranking points depending on what the other users (reader) thinks
about your thread ...

Maybe we should discuss this point in a new thread as this seems to get
a bit offtopic
