Since Fred owns the Trademark on PureBasic, not whoever created that logo, you should be safe to use it

However, I would credit the logo's author: Denis Labarre.

I somehow got an idea:

What if Fred and the PB-Team announces a competition about "who creates the best PB logo?". The best one would be taken as the official PB logo and the winner gets also a prize. Not to forget the 2nd and 3rd competitors, they should get also a prize.

What do you think about it? I would enter the competition if the winner prize is the source code of the PBCompiler
