Well the British has always been weird :P

Norway is similar to Germany when it comes to traffic lights.

Yellow being a transitional indicator so drivers (and pedestrians to some extent) can know slightly ahead that it's either gonna turn green or red in a few sec.

Also blinking yellow means free drive, usualy happens during maintainance/error,
or and certain times of the day when they basicaly allows "free drive".
(very odd to see, I've seen it a few times like middle of night downtown etc. kinda "the day after" feeling :)

Pedestrians here though only have stop and go. (red stick man and green stickman)

Basically car traffic lights here mean:

Green = go
Yellow = Get your ass out of the intersection/road right now.
Red = You'd better not be anywhere near here or your dad buddy.

Or alternatively (as a standup commedian said... George Carlin I think):

Green means go,
yellow means go faster,
red means peddal to the metal.

Well, like i said in the first post of this thread, this was my very first program with Purebasic. Even didn't thought i could come so far and that it would run so damned fast. Then i added some features, the people in the forums asked for. BUT !
Please don't ask for a selector wehre you can select your Country and the Traffic Lights will work like in that country :)
Or do you ?

until then

Maybe someone can tell me how good Purebasic works with OpenGL ?
What about abusing OpenGL as a faaast 2D-Spriteengine (and making the first Steps into the GL-World) ?
Can this work or is it better to use the Transparent-Sprite-commands that Purebasic offers ?

bye
