actions, and not blame the parents for sucking at being parents.
If it were truly the fault of the game, then there'd be millions of kids out
there right now blowing away everything, it'd be total chaos and havoc,
and we'd end up in another Mad Max movie.
One of my favorite games was Mafia by Illusion Softworks. In fact, my
kids love the game too. Full of blood and violence, but my kids know the
difference between unreal and real. But it's because I talk to my kids
and we go over things like this. From an early age, they understood that
what they saw in games and much of what was on TV was not real, and
that it would not be wise to act out such things in real life.
It sounds stupid, but think about it, if you don't tell your kids that when
the Coyote fell off the cliff and exploded, only to be chasing the Road
Runner again in the next scene wasn't real, what are they to think?
Ehhhhhh...... better stop before I enter the Rant Zone, hosted by Rod
