BTW, with you as an exception most programmers have interests in many languages. It's just a fact of life.

Maybe I'm too thick headed
'Maybe' an understatement. Or 'Might be' an understatement, or 'For shure is' one.

It means that 'Your master's' latest effort is a WV Pickup, and that PureBasic is a Dak or a Rado. That is, in another league. :) See.

BTW, here's a link to another "advertisement":

I am waiting for you to start spewing insults there, as well.

Why are people arguing over languages here? Look, if you want to get into that, Both TheNerd and I frequent the Linely forums ;) But i'd rather not argue. I thought this thread was in concern to the new language the former owner of iBasic have started ...

Very wise statement, Shannara, and well said.

Very wise indeed, but I hope I don't have to see more ad's for his efforts over here. Just a wish. (Praying...)

I wouldn't worry. I was just intending to give a "heads up". Many of us talked about him selling his business when that was going on so I thought it would interest some of them to see him back on the radar with a new venture.

I wouldn't want to be the guys who bought iBasic.

It seems that they bailed him out and now he has built an opposition product - and is tapping into his former client base.

Interesting...

However, I won't be buying it. I am happy with PB and I am also hooked on a relatively new 2D gaming language that is "BASIC" but with some OOP features.

I'm on that forum, as well. For $10 it was worth it for the language!

Hehe, yeah it is definitely under priced. Feature wise it is awesome, and it is rock solid stable. Performance wise it is pretty darn good, too ;c)
