Hi

I am interested in a shell-replacement app (or coding ideas to achieve) too.. I guess Fred is busy, but if you're reading this Fred, if you have a chance to update us about your progress in this area I'd be appreciative.

I am thinking of a simplified (non-overwhelming) or streamlined shell interface would be useful for my kids, or for a car PC - i.e. just a few buttons - launch an app etc & nice desktop background (no start button etc).

Sincerely

Michael.

Unfortunately, what Fred made is only a file explorer, not a shell

me too. However a file explorer is the beginning, as "this computer" is a part of the Explorer wich is the shell you normally use.

Now, show the explorer :D
