Not sure, but i DONT like that they dont use the SetUp word in the file name.
I think is not fine to name it "mysoftware.exe" because user must know that is a setup. Maybe "mysoftwaresetup.exe" is better.

BTW, i guess winzip only recognize 'setup.exe'.

I think "Setup.exe" is a really stupid filename. What does it say? Yeah - that it is a setup file, but of what?!?! and what version?

[myname]_setup_v[n.nn].exe or something, is better IMHO

IF you publish your program or game on a CD or something, then I think "Setup.exe" is ok... but for programs you download, it sucks! :roll:

He is slow to upgrade.

I got him ditch the abacus and switch to kalamazoo cards by explaining how much space he would save by not storing clay tablets. Then onto a hollerith card system by advising him he would save loads because he no longer had to buy confetti for weddings. Getting him to shift to the PC was a tough job! I had to throw away the hand-held punches when he wasn't looking!

I've given up on getting him to upgrade!

Now I have to go to the doctor after snorting grainy cereal through my nose, which is pretty good distance acros the room and into the hallway!!
